There's a secret gun in the whole game and it is on the last level
behind the crates as you kill two guys right and left with spaz 12
and open the door to the crate room and the gun is colt anaconda !


SOLDERS WILL NOT SHOUT YOU:
---------------------------

Go project IGI installed folder then goto commen\ai backup the folder
ai, There will some files like "civlian.qvm", "guard.qvm" like that
names of enemy's copy the file "civlian.qvm"[ctrl + c] and paste it
[ctrl + v] in that same folder, if willbe like copy of civlian.qvm
then rename enemy's files into some other names then then rename
copy of civlian.qvm into name of enemy's files like guard etc. then
start the game then enemy's willnot shout you or kill you, If thay
see you than thay will run away like civlian.


Gametip:
--------


When you are in third level, first try to shoot guards from
a distance where they can\'t see you.
from outside i.e from mountains hit soldiers ones or twice
so that they understands that you are their & they come
outside,run on mountains or the position where game starts,
then they watch over mountains & turn back to go.Then run &
kill them from back. (it works,which is quit easier than natural)


Helicopter Crash:
-------------------
In boarder crossing get past the first complex and carry on down the road
it should say that there is a helicopter on its way get to a safe place and
when its out of range follow it it should start to descend and it will hit
the ground and bounce into landing position trust me its funny


GameTip:
--------


If you want to kill an enemy but dont get trouble do like this!
press space and find an enemy about 200m or closer awey from you
look at his stumik and press space agein. take the wepon AK45 and
just klick one time (just one shon not 2 or 3) (poof) not (trrrrr)
if his dead....
You are good!
I shoot an sniper on 260m 3 times and hi was moving.
I SHOOT HIM THAT WAY

When you are in a level, first try to shoot guards from
a distance where they can't see you, because when you go
in, it is a lot easyer! (it works)

Hints:
------

Watch your ammo status and always be ready to reload.
The last thing you want is to get stuck reloading
during a firefight.

Before rushing into a base, make sure you completely
scout it out. There are often safer points of entry.

Watch the security cameras, especially if you're sniping
from a distance. If you shoot someone and a camera sees
it, the alarm will sound and your goose is cooked.


Hints:
------
When you're at the water tower after you kill the sniper
there is a rope over to the right of where the sniper just
was and if you look up toward's the rope it will indicate
that you can use the rope.

How to stop detection from Security cameras with one bullet.

1. Go to the water tower once you have killed two guys in the
communications room

2. turn off the cammeras in the next room and go up the water
tower.[using the computers and the "shift" key]

3. kill the guy. [he shouldn't see you, just sneek up and knife
him from behind for fun].

4. get his gun and use the scope to find all the camers.[you will
want to turn the alternate fire key to "right click"] {this way
u can use the scope by clicking "right click" and use page up or
down to zoom in and out}.

5. then simply track down the cameras and one shot from the sniper
rifle should blow them up.[or u can shoot the people in the garage
area and the two guards outside there [one in the tower and one
just to the lower right]

6. this way you only have to go back into the room were you turned
off the camers first time, do it again and go around shooting
them with any other gun to blow them up.

7. If you are out of ammo and must reload when there's
enemies ahead, try to find a safe place. They will shoot
you when you run, so press jump and strafe (left or right)
when you run to safety.

8. Don't bother trying to keep your ammo reserves too high,
the ammo and guns will be different in the next mission.

9. Each weapon has its own special uses in a mission. Use the
right gun for the right circumstances and learn the good
and bad points for each weapon.

10.Try to shoot the enemies in the head or stab them in the
head to kill them instantly.

11.Beware the Spetnaz soldiers on HARD mode. I think they may wear
bullet-proof vests so are harder to kill (twice as hard).

12.When you are on levels with weak walls (such as wood door),
you are able to shoot people through the walls

u go down then destroy the cmaemra and go to the
bunker /wepons hut and the granede is on the first craet

It is much easyer to play the game if you make some changes in the ai files.
go to c:\program files\eidos interactive\project IGI\pc\common\ai and make
a sub directory temp. now copy all .qvm files to this directory. now copy
the file cevillian.qvm and rename it: patrol.qvm ekk.qvm etc.
now start the game and notice the difference ! all patrolssnier etc will
run for you !


Convert AK47 into Colt Anaconda!!!:

Cheat Type : Hex Cheat



Folks! This is a really funny and interesting cheat and what makes it more
worthy for me is that I myself discovered it!!(Yeah true). Colt Anaconda is
a secret gun, as they say, only found in the last level, but I never found
it!! LOL. Infect using this cheat you can have many different guns, EVEN A
TANK in your HANDS!!!!

Let's go! First go into the installation folder of Project IGI and make a
backup copy of WEAPONS folder. Now open the weapons folder and you will see
several folders with the names of the guns like ak47 etc. Open the AK47 folder
and you will see a file named weapon.qvm. Open this file in your favorite Hex
Editor(I like Hackman) and search for a string named:
"WEAPON_ID_AK47", Change this to: "WEAPON_ID_COLT" and Save the file.

Now open the "COLTANACONDA" folder and here also you will have a file weapon.qvm.
Open this in hex editor and search for a sting named: "WEAPON_ID_COLT" Change
this to: "WEAPON_ID_AK47"

As you can imagine what I have done is nothing but interchanged the weapon id
of both the guns. Now run the game and you will see that the guards which were
previously holding ak47 will now have colt anaconda. Just kill one guard and
get his colt and enjoy this secret gun in the very first level!!!

NOTE : remember that the weapon id is all in UPPER CASE. And also do not change
anything else in the weapon.qvm files and take care not to change the size of
the file when you are hex editing.
If after taken all the above care in hex editing the files your game give an
error during startup then do this:

Extra Steps in case of error: (use these only if you are sure that you have
correctly edited the files and still getting error at startup)

1. Interchange the folders names of AK47 and COLTANACONDA

OR/AND

2. There is a file named weaponconfig.qvm in the weapons folder, open it
in hex editor and search for string "WEAPON_ID_AK47", Change this to: "WEAPON_ID_COLT"
And in the same file search again for "WEAPON_ID_COLT", Change this to "WEAPON_ID_AK47"

My game ran perfectly without using these extra steps and I think you too
wont need these. I have only written this because my commonsense says that
this should what be happening. But these stupid game developers are so bad
programmers that we don't need the extra steps.

Ok done with the colt?? Now let's get some bigger things in our hands! If
you take a look at all the weapon.qvm files in all the guns folders you will find that:

Weapon ID of AK47 = AK47
Weapon ID of Colt Anaconda = COLT
Weapon ID of UZI = UZI
Etc etc.

I am listing the entire weapon IDs of all the guns in order of their word length:


APC AK47 M16A2 SPAS12 MEDIPACK BINOCULARS
MIL COLT KNIFE MINIMI DRAGUNOV JACKHAMMER
UZI M2HB MP5SD SENTRY
T80 RPG18
GLOCK
UZIX2


Now if you want an APC or T80 (both are tanks!!) Instead of UZI then just
use the method I described for ak47 above. Just interchange the IDs of APC and UZI.

You must have guessed why we can't interchange an AK47 with APC. Because ak47
is 4 letters and APC is only 3. So the golden rule is: - we can only interchange
those weapons which have the same ID length so that we won't change the length
of weapon.qvm file. And always remember that we can only interchange IDs and not
replace them and every ID should be present at least once and no two guns can
have the same ID.

AMMO: This same cheat can be applied to the files located in the ammo folder.
For example i change the medipack ammo id to dragunov ammo id. So now i have
50 bullets(or 100 etc depending upon the amount of medipack u get in that
perticular level) of dragunov when i should have only 10.

MY SETTINGS:

This is what I do to make the game easier using this cheat. The only problem
with this cheat is that the enemy also gets whatever you change. We can use
this thing to our advantage. Colt is a small gun with only six bullets so it
needs reloading very frequently and also it takes lot of time to reload and
to fire. So change ak47 into colt and you can easily run away from a shootout
without much injury. And those stupid snipers hanging at the watch towers is
a pain in ass, just change the DRAGUNOV to MEDIPACK. Now those snipers would
be standing like basterds just watching you kicking their buddies' asses.
Change the KNIFE and GLOCK to some useful guns like M16A2 and MP5SD. Do not
use the tanks because you would be certainly killed by the enemy.

To be save from the TANKS you may press right ctr and croch.
In this way you can be save from the bomb of the TANKS.

Cheat type-Hex Cheat:

Go to IGI install folders. Then go to the folder ammo\dragunov.
Here you will find a file named "ammo.qvm" Open this file using a
hex editor program. Here you will find AMMO_ID_DRAGUNOV replace it
with AMMO_ID_MEDIPACK.
Now go to the folder ammo\medipack.
Here you will find the file named "ammo.qvm" Open it with hex editor program.
Replace AMMO_ID_MEDIPACK with AMMO_ID_DRAGUNOV Now play the game, you will
find that when you take a medipack ammo, the ammo will be of dragunov.
So now you will have 50 or 100 or 25 etc ammo of dragunov.

in the level of border crossing if you want to enter the building where helicopter
is situated.At the side of gate you turn left side and reach the truck where fence
is not covered and climb the fence.From this way you reach the building.

In IGI I have found many shorcuts with the help we can easily win many round.in
mission1,when u reach the watch tower from water tank with the help of rope jump
on the warehouse from the front of ladder of tower and u easily reach on the other
side of close door and clear the stage.
In Resupply, u saw some container in front of gate of security building.there is
crate behind the container,jump on the crate and then on container then on wall to
cross the area without entering and fight with guards to open the door from button
inside the builing and u save ur time.
In eagle nest2 there are two shorcuts .first shortcut is behind the APC depot .jump
on the crate then on wall to cross the wall to reach the side of guard headquarter
second shortcut is the broken wall of castle near security building.first shoot all
4 guards from top of walls,then move to slope of broken wall amd walk to other side
and u fall and reach that side.

hi friends in this game it is difficult to get the blood/medipack to get
this use the folowing instruction.

1)first go to the igi installed folder then go to weapon folder u will find some
folders like Ak47,binoculars,colt anaconda,medipack etc.
2)then go to Ak47 folder you will find a folder like weapon the open in hex editor u
will find a string like weapon_id_Ak47 by using hexeditor edit the string to
weapon_id _medipack. then similarly go to medipack folder u will get a folder like
weapon then open in hex editor edit weapon_id_medipack to weapon_id Ak47 the save it .
3)when u will kill a soldier u will get a medipack.

It has been written in cheatbook that there is a secret gun colt anaconda in
the last level behind the crates but it actual position is not given.After
wasting lot of time i have found that gun. It situated in the two room before
the fan room behind the crates where two guard standing at the gates,in other
words when you reach the lift where ekk is escaping to the bomb room.where you
found the grenandes,medicpack,proximity mine and colt anaconda.


CONVERSION OF AK47 TO APC/T80:

Hi,friends this really very funny by using a ACP or T80(both are tanks)
it looks very crazy while climbing a ladder with ACP.I read to convert
AK47 to COLT i did it but i was not satisfied with it it was not funny
there will be a fun when the enimies have a knife with them when they see
you they will shout stop there.. and they take there position they can't
do anything.ok leave it first convert AK47 to APC .
I read that we can't change ak47 to apc due to that ak47 is
4 letter & apc is 3 letter it is wrong we can do it just follow
me.

Let's go! First go into the installation folder of Project IGI

go to igi bakup files in pc then in a file named as common then ai here execpt
ayna ekk priboi settings cut all the files and paste them to any where u want
now from the pasted files copy civilian and paste it to ai and rename it as
"sniper.rpg" then paste again & rename as radioguard then again paste so paste
civilian as much times as the files you have cutted from ai after that paste ai
and run the game the enemeys could not see you.

go to the drive where you have installed the game then you will get a file
ammo there you have to copy all the name of the wepon to one of the wepon
file then you will be able to use all wepons at a time . and to make the
enemy friendly yoy need to go to the enemy file and delete the files like
sniper etc.

In later stages as the strategy and precision of the opponents increase
you feel more uncomfortable in coming infront of any of them and kill
without getting damaged yourself. Try this. Just sit down near a corner,
as a soldier has a gun in his hand and while having that you can see his
arm elbow before getting his eye contact. now, if you have sniper just
zoom in and kill him. Other guns like AK47 and M-16 also work just you
require two or three bulletts. This will help you a lot in indoor fights,
especially in last stage.

Avoid Tanks
===========
1) In missions "Get Priboi" & "Re-supply"
b4 entering the base or being seen by any 1
Try to shoot the cameras with DRAGUNOV from as far as possible.
U can locate them using "Map Computer" (C)
2) If u fail u get 1 or 2 tanks behind u.
In such case &
In missions "Defend Priboi" & "Finding the bomb"
1st locate the tank using the map computer (C)
Shoot the tanks from as far as possible.
For eg : In the last mission ur warned about a tank by Anaya
After completing ur 1st goal while getting in the lift.
Just go back, shoot the glass with any gun &
Blast the tank with the Law from the top
: //y Blast the tank in "Defend Priboi"
From the top most floor of the building Priboi gets in.
3) In case u hear or know a missile is being fired @ u just run away or crouch
For eg :In "Border Crossing", and above missions.
4) In mission "Re-supply" & "Border Crossing"
If u manage to get on mountains the Tanks don't fire accurately
But be careful about Land Mines and Helicopters.
5) Again in "Border Crossing" after the helicopter flys
Away shoot as many soldiers in the vicinity using the sniper
And then climb the wire fence (using shift when u approach it)
Collect the Law in the next building & blast the tank from far.
Avoid Helicopters
=================
1) In missions "Border Crossing" when ur warned of a helicopter,
Don't run back, as a Tank is approaching from behind.
Just run towards the nearest 2-storied building and hide till the helicopter flys away.
Avoid Sentry Guns
=================
In "Finding the bomb" where
=> Ekk runs away,
=> u get a uzi after killing a soldier while following her
=> carefully open the door, shoot the camera just above the door
& then enter the room, and collect the arms and ammunition
=> If u fail to do this just operate the computer
so that u switch of the sentry guns for a while
=> In any case go ahead, climb up to the room with the sentry gun control &
operate the computer to retard the Sentry Guns
Just enjoy the sentry gun shoot all the soldiers
More
====
-> In "Get Priboi" after fixing the bombs(C4) on the Petrol Tanks
Don't hide behind the Petrol Truck, instead run far towards the fence & climb it.
-> In "Border Crossing" u can climb the fence near the truck outside the fence,
where the helicopter is stationed.
-> In "Missile Train yard" go to the bridge from outside, and then over the bridge inside,
switch of the security cams and shoot them from far.
-> In the "Eagles Nest I",
First goal: Sniper is on the top of the 2 storied building.
Third goal: Don't shoot all the enemies but make sure at least 1 comes out so that
he opens the gate

In project IGI you gonna have to trouble when the soldiers kill you.
i am now giving you a method to take APC or T80 in your hands
the method to convert ak47 into APC using the hexeditor( a tool of cheatbook).
first of all make a backup or shortcut of weapons folder.
now open it in hexeditor and then open ak47 folder and then open the file weapon.qvm
search for a string like "WEAPON_ID_AK47" chang this to "WEAPON_ID_APC."

hello friends!i am a great lover of this game!now getting back to the point,i want
to give a very useful tip to all of my friends.in the border crossing mission,when
you get closer to the two enemies who are standing near two jeeps,Ania informs you
of the gunship helicopter heading towards you,so,after killing those two enemies,
take a hide there under the sideway roof of washroom.in this way,you can see the
helicopter but it cannot see you at all. Thanks for bearing me! i love my all friends!

This cheat is used to save some of the time . . . .
Whenever you want to climb down from the ladder use action key twice 1st to take
the action and when you press the action key 2nd time you will swing down from the ladder.


Kill the enemy safely:
----------------------

Hide David Jones to corner of the walls or other hiding place without appearing directly
to enemy soldier. Now slowly trace enemy so that 45 to 49% of his body appear to you.
Now kill enemy soldier by fire bullets on his body. Here note that you must not appear
fully on front of the enemy soldier otherwise, he might stay there and fire at you in
some situations but I recommended to never go directly on front of him to expose yourself
more than 45 to 49% even the enemy is little far. When you are back of soldier there is
no problem to run (or walk) towards him.


Ground Safe:
------------

In 10th mission when you defend Priboi after opening the gate and reach the village
killed 8 soldiers by hiding yourself near Priboi then by help of M16 A2 gun grenades
destroy the 4 soldiers run in groups and kill other two then destroy truck and run
towards large building. If you run directly towards building and not combat the 6
soldiers near truck, they trouble you from ground when you position on 2nd story
near the window.


Re-Supply Hint:
---------------
When u get out of the truck, just run straight without stopping. U will see some big
green containers placed near the wall. Get on top of one of it with the help of the
wooden box kept in between. When u r on top, try to jump above the wall with ur mouse
pointer a little up. Try it a few times and u will be able to jump above the wall and
get outside. Ur first objective will be complete without going in the building and not
even killing anyone.


Deactivate Enemies:

It is much easier to play the game if you make some changes in the ai files.
Go to c:\program files\eidos interactive\project IGI\pc\common\ai.Make a copy of
this folder "ai"
Then copy the civilian.qvm (ctrl+C)
Paste it multiple times (ctrl+v)

If you want to take out guards from distance use glock17 don't use mp5 as it would
reduce bullet for both glock 17 and mp5. you can fire in zigzag manner in at a sniper
with ak 47 he should be dead within one reload if your clip is full.


Early Kill:


when you are in lev 1, climb up the ladder and shoot the water tower guard with the MP.
it may take a few bullets, but it is good anyway. then, when you got down and killed
both guards, go and make the security cams offline for 2 mins. then go up da waters tower
and collect the weapon. aim at other guards you see and the cams and you are safe.


Conversion of ak47 to colt anaconda:

Let's go! First go into the installation folder of Project IGI and make a backup copy of
WEAPONS folder. Now open the weapons folder and you will see several folders with the names
of the guns like ak47 etc. Open the AK47 folder and you will see a file named weapon.qvm.
Open this file in your favorite Hex
Editor(I like Hackman) and search for a string named:
"WEAPON_ID_AK47", Change this to: "WEAPON_ID_COLT" and Save the file.

Now open the "COLTANACONDA" folder and here also you will have a file weapon.qvm.

as ..throwing bombs to you.ok use the telescopic MP5 gun to break down the support of
iron bars by pointing at the red orange coloured thick screws.Now donot forget to move

the other orange screws which support the above top of the position where your enemy

Use the rasmaker and the rasmaker2 to decompress the game data, then look for the
following files
1. level_items.H
2. shooting.H

Then edit the file with notepad, and change the values in the following parameter
1. clipsize (indicate the amount of bullet a magazine reserve)
2. pocketsize 9indicate the maximum amount of ammo Max can carry for the weapons)
3. shootingfrequency (indicate the speed of the shot, is it a single fire or a rapid
fire) all you got to do is edit it, or you can do the same thing that i do, i just
add additional zeroes to the values, and it makes Max dodging bullets like raindrops.

Playing max payne is cool but it's hell lot cooler to play mona, so for those of
you who like mona as much as i do and want to play her for the entire game use
this trick, find the file named "levels" and edit it with a notepad, you can use
the search feature, relax you'll find it for sure there's no name duplication in
this, then open it with notepad once you're inside find the parameter "playerskinname",
all you got to do is change the name to s_monasax_a or s_monasax_b or even s_monasax_naked,
you could look for the correct naming and other skins name in player skin folder.

Now in the very last chapter after you climb the lift and turn right in that
room you will see the steps breaking down. Now instead of waiting for the small
lift reach near Vlad using the jump cheats(jump30 or jump20)You can fire at
Vlad but he will not die. He will soon hide in a small passage. If you enter
the door ahead in the movie you will see Vlad climbing the huge hemisphere.
He will throw a cocktail to the door. Since you are in god mode you can walk
through the fire and reach Vlad in the passage. He will be still there.
Now you can finish the game by killing Vlad over the hemispherical structure
or you can jump down and climb through the small lift and make the Vlad in
the passage go to the hemisphere.Some gang members will come from that door
but they will die in the fire. Try this out

On some levels, you will hear the song "Late Goodbye". For example, in Chapter
4, when the janitor tells you the code for the door in one of the beginning

In the warehouse after the cleaning imposter tries to trick you, kill his teammate. In
the room his teammate came out of is a forklift with a board and two barrels. One is an
explosive. Push the lever on the forklift and the board will slide backwards, allowing
you to walk up it. Then, jump to the box. Turn around, then jump to the other box. Jump
to the box next to it with a open box to find grenades, painkillers, and ammunition.


Tip for Dead Man Walking:

n dead man walking mode (when you've unlocked it!) ,shootdoge-jump into the enemies as
they spawn from their spawn pod thingies. The next few times they respawn they
automatically get knocked over. (making your gaming a whole lot easier!)

Instead of -developer use -developerkeys and in the game use F11 to bring up statistics
and PGUP and PGDOWN to change character model. You can select everyone in the game,
but you can't use F12 to use normal cheats.


Help from the goonies:
----------------------
In the chapter where you get some "help" by a few of the goonies, use the following
tricks. When they shoot their guns, stay behind them. Secondly, let them take care
of all the cleaners and masked men (which will lead into the following tip). If there
are any remaining, have an automatic gun ready and cap all of them. One of the goonies
will be reminded of your name being Max Payne and they will turn on you.


Kill old lady:
--------------
In the "There Is No Us In This" level, the old lady that gives you the shotgun can be
killed during the intermission sequence where Max tells her to close her door and not
open it for anyone but the police. To create this glitch, throw either a grenade or a
Molotov cocktail at the ground near the door as you are leaving. This will cause her
to burn in the intermission sequence if using a Molotov, or get blown sky high if
using a grenade. Also, if you do a backwards dive through the door while exiting and
shoot the lady in the head as the screen fades to black, Max will be talking to no one
during the intermission sequence. This means that there will be no body on the ground
or anything else.

They can be very useful in game play. If you are about to enter a room full of thugs,
toss a hand grenade in first. You can also bean someone with a hand grenade, stunning
him so he doesn't have time to run away.

you complete one mini-mission.

Start You're The Cop mode in single player under the beginner difficulty setting.

file from here and paste it over the original "car.ini" file of a slower car in
its own folder (for example, the Elise). This instantly gives that car the speed
and handling characteristics of the better vehicle. Note: Back up the original
"car.ini" file of the slower car in the event that you want to revert it back

To gain extra money you must first have not bought too many tracks. End the game
if it is not already closed. Go to the location of your file. Usually it is stored
under C:\program files\EAGames\Hot Pursuit 2. Next go into the file called tracks.
In this folder you should find a text file called tracks, open it. If you scroll
down you will notice that all of the tracks are grouped in an organized order.
you should notice three or four numbers with some of them being different and
some of them the same. All of these numbers should be in the thousands. Change
all of these numbers to a negative number such as -60000. You may wish to change
all the numbers for each track to a negative number. Exit the program clicking
YES to save. Start the game and buy a couple of tracks, when you buy them the
computer will end up paying you money. You will know if you have done the program
correctly if the computer says the track costs -60000. Also you can switch the
track to backward!

named car,[car_hp is the nfs version of the car and car_cop is obviosly the
cop version].You can edit any version. {But be sure to drive that version}.
In the car folder you will actually see that EA has written that tuning
of the car is possible.Select the matter from AeroDragCoefficient=x.xxx to
FinalGearRatio=x.xx.Delete it. Don't close that folder.Then open any other

oncoming traffic.the cop will not chase you but in some exceptional cases they
might chase you and you have a chance to crash them onto oncoming traffic. But

Here is a simple code if u want all the cars and tracks. First go to my computer
and click on drive D or C (were ever u installed your game.) Then scroll down till
u see a folder called TRACKS. Click on it and then click on another file that say
tracks and u will see that every track is copied in a neat order. And u will see
the word (example:) m_prices(2)=30,000 just change that 30,000 into zero and when
u are done exit out and it will say do u want to save click yes. then exit out of
the file and the folder and look for a file called Cars and do the same thing click
on it and click on another file called cars. And it will neatly show each car in
order. For example scroll down to your favorite car (Mercedes Benz clk_gtr) and
change your favorites car price and nfs price to zero.
Note: when u change nfs price to zero the nfs edition car will cost only 2,000.
Then u can change all of them. Get out of the folder and save when it asks u and
exit everything out. Click on your game and single race and if u want to change
track it will be on 0 just unlock it without paying and something with the cars
except nfs edition.

Activate your Blocker/Brawler before the race. While racing and you are
coming up to a speed trap, stop your Blocker/Brawler. This will crash the
other car(s), and drastically slow down their time. Remember that the peak
Blocker/Brawler moment is just before the speed trap.


Easy wins:
----------
In races where crew members are used, used a scout (Yumi if possible).
If you do not win the race, your scout will.


Crew members:

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding crew member.
Sal: Complete four to six races.
Yumi: Defeat Kenji.


Avoiding police:
----------------
When being chased by the police, open the GPS map. Locate the nearest orange
triangle with the pointer and activate the GPS. It will then show a blue arrow
and lead you to the Pursuit Breaker. If the cops are directly behind you, they
will stop because they "died". However if you are at heat level 4 or higher,
the cops (Corvettes) will just dodge the debris. Once the cops have "died" it
will then go into Cooldown mode. Then, just wait until you lose them. There is
a faster way to do this. If you go into GPS mode (after you have gone into
Cooldown mode), there will be a blue-white dotted circle. Activate the GPS for
the circle. Drive toward it and make sure that you are exactly in the middle of
the circle. Your Cooldown meter should be drop down faster. After the little
screen appears, you should be back to normal.


Avoiding police 2:
------------------
This technique will work very well if you have a muscle car or something just
as good. Use it when the cops are really pestering you (especially the blue cars
or Corvettes) and start to corner you against the wall. Enter slow time then crank
it to the middle of the road to get free. This technique also is very helpful if
you have a flat tire. It might be not as good, but it still may work.


Drive through police:
---------------------
In a pursuit, drive through a Pursuitbreaker and it switch to an intermission
sequence. After it ends you should have control over your car. If there are any
police cars around you, you can drive through them. If this does not work at
first, keep trying.


Easier Speedtrap races:
-----------------------
Activate your Blocker/Brawler before the race. While racing and coming up towards
a speed trap, stop your Blocker/Brawler. Your Blocker/Brawler will stop, crash the
other car(s), and drastically slow down their time. Remember that the peak Blocker/
Brawler moment is just before the speed trap.


Free performance parts:
-----------------------
Go into "My Crew" then choose a crew member. Select the "View Car" option. Then,
customize it. You can paint it whatever color desired, and because your crew members
cars are not tuned you can buy them performance parts for free.


How to destroy cops without speedbreaker:

The cops are not clever. If you srive next to a vehicle, they go to it. Lead yourself
next to a wall. Then,steer, when you almost go to it the cops destroyed.

Easy Canyon Races

While in the canyon race you will see that there are areas marked with whte lines
with stripes on the side of the roads near the big turns. If you follow those lines,
you will have the shortest turn and thus you will be able to win the race easily.


Easier Speedtrap races:
-----------------------
Activate your Blocker/Brawler before the race. While racing and you are
coming up to a speed trap, stop your Blocker/Brawler. This will crash the
other car(s), and drastically slow down their time. Remember that the peak
Blocker/Brawler moment is just before the speed trap.

Activate the cheats (infinite nitrous and infinite crew charge) activate your drafter
(if in the crew) and keep the drafter activated from the commencing of the game ,
follow him/herand you or your drafter will certainly win the race.

Use the following trick to defeat Darius in Canyon Duel. When you defeat Darius on the
streets, you will obviously go to the canyon. When going against him, try to get in
front of him. After that, keep yourself in front of him for ten seconds and you will
win. This also works with all other Canyon Duels. Pulling away and making him fall
off also works.

1)When starting a race chosee a drafter and youll gain speed by drafting.
2)When a canyon duel starts chose a muscle car (EX: Corvetee ZO6) and you gain speed
but be careful on turns
3)In drift races first chosee a tuner-car for better drifts (note:first chosse a car,
performence,tires and make it the meter to drift)


Easy money:
-----------
Go to the Billings District, Downtown (tuner area). Go to the Mason Fountain race
(speed trap race). Do not join it. Drive south of the race. While driving south,
there will be a entrance to your right. Take it and you will go off a ramp. Once
you go thought the entire shortcut, turn around. Look at your map and there should
be a orange arrow. Race the car to any location. When you win, you'll get $1,000.
Drive back to the jump and do the same thing again. The orange arrow should appear
again. Race the car again for another $1,000. Repeat this as many times as desired.
Note: This may take some time.

car do a phenomenal 270mph.It is best in speed,grip and drag(apart from wheelie challenges).
